Peoples Gas employees care deeply about the communities where they live and serve. That’s why employees chose to donate $5,000 to After School Matters.
The donations are part of the Peoples Gas Safety Charity Challenge, a companywide program to encourage employees to live and work safely while positively impacting their local communities. Employees have the opportunity to direct a contribution toward charities at the end of each quarter when safety goals are met.
After the first quarter of 2026, they selected After School Matters, which provides Chicago high school students with opportunities to develop their talents through after-school and summer programs.inclusive community for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
